Karnataka reports 348 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 2.11 percent

Bengaluru, June 7: Karnataka on Tuesday, June 7 registered 348 new coronavirus cases. As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 2,478.

Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally at 339. Zero deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Tuesday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,066.

The state recorded 311 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 39,11,351.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,53,937 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.11% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00%.

As many as 10,93,04,646 people have received vaccination so far.
