Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (JD)Udupi, Jun 7: "We will collect and courier old chaddi's to KPCC office. If Congress starts to target RSS chaddi then it would be their final journey" said Kuilady Suresh Naik, president, Udupi district BJP.
He was addressing the reporters on Siddaramaiah call for burning RSS uniform statewide. "Siddaramaiah doesn't know the power of RSS chaddi. We are collecting chaddi's from our party workers and those collected will be sent to KPCC office through courier. Let the Nalapad and Siddaramaiah sit and burn them. Congress has no moral right to speak about RSS uniform. Let them sit and burn the Chaddi's we will supply more and more" he said.
Speaking about the bomb threat to RSS office Kuilady said,"RSS and BJP won't fear any such silly threats. Those who have given the threat let them try once to plant the bomb. RSS and BJP have grown leaps and bounds over the years. First you plant the bomb and then see what happens," he challenged.
Kota Srinivas Poojary, minister for social welfare and backward class commenting on the issue, he said, "Siddaramaiah is feared about the RSS chaddi. In a democratic nation where RSS was involved in building the society and which was appreciated by Nehru and many other Congress leaders themself, Congress leaders are today trying to burn the uniform of such an organization. This will be a declension of Congress. With this activity Congress will lose its vote bank," he opined.
Speaking about the textbook revision row in the state, Kota Srinivas Poojary said, "Congress is doing a run over false allegations. We have information about the changes done by the Baraguru Ramachandrappa committee also. In a process to fill the nationalistic ideologies, Congress is trying to spread false allegations. Few declared that they will return the awards citing the growth of intolerance under Modi government, none of them have returned their awards. Today, few others are demanding to remove their literary work from the text books, Few of those who demand have no literary work included in the text books. These are attempts to malign the government. We will take the public into confidence and proceed. Congress is trying to politicise the issue," he said.
