Mangaluru, June 2: After a brief interval, Tulunad Manikya fame actor Aravind Bolar re-joined coastal Karnataka’s famous drama troupe ‘Cha Parka Kalavidaru’ troupe, led by Devadas Kapikad.
Aravind would be partnering with the group to perform in the drama ‘Kurepatt’ which is scheduled on Sunday, June 6, at Sparsha Kala Mandir, BC Road. It was the ardent wish of Tulu drama lovers across the globe to witness the performance of the spectacular trio,comprising Devdas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vomanjoor, the most striking personalities of the Tulu entertainment industry in a single drama team.
Initially, the Cha Parka team comprised Kapikad-Bolar-Vomanjoor and Naveen D Padil who were the most sought after role takers in the comedy plays. The trend set by these four has paved the way towards forming a revolution in Tulu theatre. The audiences were in awe of the comedy plays and this affection from the audiences has led to the emergence of many drama troupes and artistes. The Tulu movie producers also tried the same chemistry and comedy genres in their movies as well.
