Karnataka reports 155 Covid cases, zero deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, May 21: Karnataka on Saturday, May 21 registered 155 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state at 1,655. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally 150.

Zero deaths reported to coronavirus in the state on Saturday, the death toll in the state has risen to 40,064.

The state recorded 166 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 39,08,617.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,50,378 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.77% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.00%.
