Bantwal, May 21: The Vishwakarma auditorium constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crores at Ajekala near Bantwal national highway was inaugurated by Kalahastendra Saraswati Mahaswamy and Shivasujnana Theertha Mahaswamy on Saturday,May 21.
Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary assures package of Rs 25 lacs
Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary who was impressed by the work at the auditorium, announced Rs 1 crore for Kalikamba temple and Rs 25 lacs for the auditorium.
President of the sangha, Sudhaker Acharya Marnebailu presided over the programme.
MLA Rajesh Naik said that Rs 25 lacs had already been released for the auditorium and assured of providing land and monetary help from the government to open Vishwakarma crafts training centre or engineering college. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that about 95% of the Vishwakarma community was working to strengthen Hindutva. Former minister B Ramanath Rai said that he had provided Rs 75 lacs for the auditorium during his term and Vishwakarma community has not forgotten it.
Land donor Tuguru Deepak Acharya, donors Pushpalatha Janardhan Acharya, Dr S M Gopalakrishna Acharya, Sudhaker Acharya Marnabailu, Sunil Bhandaribettu and building architect Sandeep B Acharya were felicitated. MLA Rajesh Naik and former minister Ramanath Rai were honoured on the occasion.
President of the sangha, Sudhaker Marnebail welcomed and gave an introduction. Honorary president Manoj Acharya Nanya proposed a vote of thanks. Dayananda Sharma of Barkur Kalikamba temple and treasurer of the sangha, Jayachandra Acharya Sarapadi compered the programme.
