Mumbai, Apr 30: A confluence of Saraswath community will be held at sector 29, flat 59 Gold Christ High school auditorium from 9 am on May 1 under the aegis of Vishwa Saraswath Okkoota, All India Saraswath cultural organization and GSB Sabha Navi Mumbai.
Seers Samyameendra Theetha Swamiji of Varanasi, Vidyadheesha Theertha Sripada Vader Swamiji of Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam math, Shivananda Saraswath Swamiji of Padacharya Kaivalya math and Sadhyojith Shankerashram Swamiji of Chitrapur math will be present.
Retired officer of the Indian army, Indian army’s assigned major general G D Bhakshi, will be a chief orator and will speak about Saraswath civilization. Prize awarded author, columnist Shefali Vaidya will be speaking about the traditional art of Saraswath temples and treasure of culture. Prize awarded author and columnist Dr Agnishekar will give details of Kashmiri Saraswath history. The confluence will thereby uphold the glorious Saraswath civilization, unveil the knowledge of Saraswath history and will be witness to the Saraswath unity in the future, said the organizers.
National panellist of national issues in Prasar Bharati Delhi, social worker Sampath Saraswath Bamanvali will be speaking about Saraswath social security, author of the book explaining Sindhu script Surendranath Bhat Mulki will speak about publishing Sindhu script, Uttar Pradesh government public work department chief secretary Nithin Ramesh Gokarn will speak about Saraswath, one of the rich ancient civilizations, Saraswath bank president Gautham E Thakur will speak about the publicity and the branding of Saraswath name, researcher of celestial and environment Roopa Bhati who served Kutch development authority after the earthquake will speak about decoding the river of Saraswath in vedic and Sanskrit literature.
The unity of GSB is the foremost intention of the confluence. Thousands of Saraswath community members from India and abroad will participate in the event, said Vishwa Saraswath Okkoota convener, MLA D Vedavyas Kamath and president Pradeep G Pai.
GSB Sabha Navi Mumbai president S R Pai, chief convener Mohandas Mallya, honorary secretary Vasanth Kumar Bantwal, joint secretary Surendranath Kamath, office bearers and members have requested the concerned to make the event a success.
