Mangaluru, Apr 28: Education minister Nagesh said that there is there is no chance for conducting religious classes in schools run by Christians.
Nagesh was responding to the accusation made by the archbishop of Bengaluru that BJP government is targeting Christian institutions. Nagesh said that whether the educational institution is run by minorities or any other community, they have to follow rule as implemented under Karnataka Education Act. He said there is no scope for preaching Bible or Quran in schools.
The archbishop negated the accusation of saffron organization that Christian educational institutions are indulging in forceful conversion. He has also said that the allegation made against Clarence School by Hindu awareness committee is complete lie and misleading.
