Bengaluru, Apr 7: The Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations (FKCA) will host the online Global Bible Quiz in Konkani which will be held on Sunday May 1 at 7 PM (IST).
Silvian Noronha, chairman, FKCA said that the purpose of organising the quiz is threefold - To encourage Catholics to gain a deeper knowledge of The Word of God, to increase the bonding between Member Associations and Konkani Catholics across the Globe and to promote the Konkani language.3
The quiz will be held online simultaneously all over the world at 7 pm Indian Standard Time. The registration is open on FKCA website www.fkcaglobal.com. The participants from anywhere in the world can access the link for 20 minutes to answer the questions.
Dr Peter Machado, archbishop of Bangalore will inaugurate the quiz.
Guidelines
1. Eligibility: Open to anyone of any age group in India and abroad (Quiz in Konkani)
2. Script: Kannada/ English (Roman) script
3. Registration on FKCA website www.fkcaglobal.com
4. Entry fee of Rs 100. Registration payment to be made through online transfer/Credit or Debit Card/UPI
4. Topic: Books, Authors & Background of the New Testament (27 Books)
5. 100 questions
6. Time: 20 minutes (Time: 7 pm - 7.20 pm IST)
7. Last Date to Register for the Quiz: April 20
8. Prizes will be distributed on FKCA Federation Day in Bengaluru on June 5

The answers to the quiz will be provided after the quiz results are announced.
