Kundapur, Apr 2: “Congress remembers Mekedatu, Krishna upper bank project, Irrigation projects, inflation etc when election nears. That is why now they are protesting against rising prices,” said minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.
Poojary was speaking with media representatives on Friday in the city. He further said, “Protesting is common in democracy system. But the government takes decision after verifying the matter that needs to be given importance. Congress indulges in such activities only for the sake of elections. As people are aware of this they do not give much weightage to this.”
Answering a query, Poojary said, “Our government has given clarification in the assembly itself on the law and rules that are implemented during the Congress regime. The government wishes to maintain harmony within the legal framework and issues to be resolved.”
