Jago Yuva Bharat Team Stresses on Need for Environment Protection

Mangalore, Jan 23: The Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) team performed an open-air show for the public as part of the Jago Yuva Bharat hosted by Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) here on Sunday January 23.
The show was performed at 7.15 am after the holy Eucharistic celebration at Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar.
The vibrant team included 30 dynamic youth from different parts of the country. Parish priest Fr Valerian Pinto greeted Ravi Raunak Robin, national president, ICYM and his team and congratulated them for their efforts in creating awareness on different issues through this campaign.
The show performed by the K2K team emphasised on the need to protect the environment. The keynote address was delivered Rakesh Singh, convener, K2K wherein he elaborated the purpose of the campaign. Sr Edburg B S, national animator, expressed her gratitude for giving an opportunity to organise the campaign. The programme concluded with the planting of a sapling in the church campus. Prashanth D’Souza, programme officer, coordinated the whole programme.
