Saleem Javed of Udupi to Represent India in Asian Karate Ch'ship

Udupi, Jan, 14: Saleem Javed from Udupi district will represent India in  Fajulatun Nesa 3rd Inter Continental Asia Wukf Karate Championship which will be held at Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh from January 28 to 30.

Saleem has been successful in many state and national level Competitions. He has already proved his mettle by getting silver medal for the nation in 2008. Saleem is a holder of black belt first Dan and is working as karate instructor for higher section under the department of physical education in Flowers of Paradise Public School, Malpe.
 
He has a dream to represent India in Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, South Korea. His dedication and passion towards the sport will fetch him more success in future.
 
More than 1,200 athletes from different parts of Asia will participate in the championship.
