Kannada Family Entertainer ‘Karthik’ Set to Rock Theatre Soon

Mangalore, Jan 15: ‘Karthik’ one of the most ambitious projects of Yashoda Movietones will be released towards the end of this month, informed the film's team in a press meet conducted in Mangalore Press Club on Saturday January 15.
Actor Karthik Shetty, director Sathish Shetty, Devadas Kapikad, Sharmila D Kapikad, Raj K Purohith, Sulatha Shetty attended the press meet.
Addressing the presspersons Karthik Shetty opined that ‘Karthik’ as character in movie is full of energy. He promised that film will give a different viewing experience due to its best screenplay. He also learnt mix marshal arts in Singapore for a period of four months to enhance his role as an action hero. He acted in action scenes without the help of dupes. Archana Gupta is the heroine of the movie.
Karthik Shetty hails from Karkala taluk. Comedian and eminent theatre personality Devadas Kapikad is playing a role of an absent minded person to entertain the audience.
Speaking on the occasion Kapikad remembered how the team was helpful in fulfilling every need of the crew and sought the support of audience for the movie. Raj Purohit hailing from Belgaum district plays a villain role in the film.
There are five songs in the movie. Ajay Warier, Shreya Goshal, Dr Shamitha Malnad, Gurukiran, Rajesh Krishnan and Sunitha Bhat have rendered their voice.
The action packed, sentimental movie ‘Karthik’ is shot at various spots in Mumbai, Kolapur and Bangalore among others. Famous Bollywood videographer Manjunath B Nayak has done videography. Hrudaya Shiva has written dialogues and song lyrics for the movie n the music has been rendered by John Vorky. The movie has stunts by Nanjundi Nagaraj.
Family Entertaining Movie
The movie is based on the inevitability of human life with its ups and downs. Love, anger and affection form the base of the movie. Obscenity and double meaning dialogues have been avoided. Hence Karthik & team expect huge response from the audience when the movie hits the theatres.
