Mangalore: City All Set to Host Hindu Samajotsava

Mangalore, Jan 2: The city is all decked up and ready to host Hindu Samajotsava organized by Hanumath Shakthi Jagaran Samiti on Sunday January 2.
Hoardings, flags and buntings have added the community fervour lighting up the atmosphere. Penultimate preparations are on with the city being readied for the meeting from about a week now. All the organizations participating in the meet are set for a perfect co-ordination with all the know-how of the schedule after various prepratory meetings held in the respect in the earlier days.
The volunteers are leaving no stone unturned to garner great support for the convention. As many as a lac supporters are expected to turn up at the convention scheduled to be held at 3.45 pm at the Nehru Maidan here.
All are set to hear Praveen Bhai Togadia, international general secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishat, who will deliver the keynote address at 4.00 pm. Pejavar seer Vishweshateertha Swamiji will deliver the benedictory address, while entrepreneur Dayanand Pai will preside. Rani Chandrakanta, VHP Central Committee vice-president will be the guest.
Earlier to the public function, procession as part of the convention will begin from Dr Ambedkar Circle at 3.00 pm and culminate in the Hanumath Shakti Jagaran Yajna at the convention venue 3.45 pm.
Free buses have been arranged for the volunteers by the Dakshina Kannada Bus Owners' Association in their respective routes from 1.00 pm onwards, informed Aziz Partipady, association general secretary.
