Udupi, Feb 14: “The Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) did not incite the students of Kundapur to wear saffron shawls. This is just a reaction to an action. Thorough investigation needs to be done on the conspiracy behind the Hijab controversy,” said Ullas K T, chief secretary of HJV south Karnataka province.
Addressing the media in city on Monday, February 14, Ullas said, “Hijab issue which started from Udupi went on to become international headlines. PFI and Islamic organizations are behind this planned conspiracy."
“CFI and PFI are behind the chaos that were created on the religious right of wearing Hijab, which the girl students did not remember from the beginning of the academic year till December 2021. The girls who are involved in this are not innocent," he alleged.
"The six girls who are involved in this controversy are in touch with CFI via their Twitter accounts. CFI is the student wing of PFI. This can be made out from the posts they have done on their Twitter account. A person by the name Vijay Patel has thrown more light on his Twitter page about the role played by CFI in the Hijab controversy," Ullas added.
“If that is kept as base and the girl students are interrogated, all the conspiracies behind the Hijab controversy will be unveiled. Similarly, rowdysheeter PFI activists, who were caught with daggers during the chaos on Hijab controversy in Kundapur further strengthens this claim.
“In addition, the visit of the chief of HYC organization, which is the Telangana wing of PFI, and his support to the girls involved in Hijab controversy and discussions that are on in the gulf countries over this subject, show that this is a plot hatched by PFI. So the HJV urges thorough investigation into this controversy.”
