Mumbai, Dec 20: The metro based Sri Krishna Vittala Pratistan, a social welfare and religious organization celebrated its 13th annual day celebrations at Divya Sagar Lawn located nearby Mahanand Dairy, Goregaon (East) here on Sunday December 19.
Swami Vidyaprasannateerta of Subramanya Mutt inaugurated the religious discourse held on Sunday evening and said that human life is precious among all God’s creation. The privilege of spirituality and social living is bestowed on mankind. The successful life lies on overcoming trials and tribulations trusting in divine intercession. The religious celebrations of Yaga are much pleasing to God than puja, he added.
Kairabettu Vishwanath Bhat and Pratistan chief secretary Suma V Bhat couple felicitated Swami Vidyaprasannateerta on the same occasion.
Swami Vishveshateerta of Pejavar Mutt and Swami Sugunendrateerta performed Vishnuyaga and other Vedic rituals on the occasion.
The Pratistan founder Vidwan Kairabettu Vishwanath Bhat was also present on the occasion. ‘Karnikada Shanishwar’, a Tulu play directed by Karunakar Kaup was staged besides variety cultural programmes.
The Deputy CM Ajit Pawar presided over the program.The Pratistan chief secretary Harish S Shetty welcomed the gathering. Ashok Pakkala compered the programme. Trustee K Sadanand Upadhyaya proposed the vote of thanks.
