Mumbai, Jan 27: Nithyananda D Kotian is elected president and Vishwanath Shetty as vice president unopposed of Goregaon Karnataka Sangha for the year 2021-22. The elections were held in their 63rd meeting at Barkur Rukmini Shetty auditorium presided over by the current president of the sangha, Narayana R Mendon on January 21.

Vani Shetty was elected honorary chief secretary, M Anand Shetty honorary treasurer. Sahani Shetty and Usha B Shetty joint secretaries, Suchalatha Poojary joint treasurer, Indira Moily ladies wing president, Vinod Bangera youth wing president, executive committee members Narayana R Mendon, Gunodaya S Ail, Padmaja Mannur, Jayaker D Poojary, Vishalaxi Uluvara, Shivanand Shetty and Sarita S Nayak.

Mundkoor Surendra Salian, G T Acharya and Ramesh Shetty Payyar are continuing as the supporting pillars. Vasanti Kotekar is the honorary librarian, Usha Shetty the director of library, Sujatha Shetty, drama director Vittal M Shetty, Devulkunda Bhasker Shetty, Sachindra Kotian, Vasanti Shetty, Suguna Bangera, Harischandra Acharya and Ganesh Nayak were the specially invited committee members.
