Kuwait, Dec 13: The Kuwait Pangla Association celebrated Christmas Tree programme at Indian Public School, recently.
The programme was anchored by Melwyn. Kuwait Pangla Association president Jerald Quadras welcomed the gathering. It was followed by a Hymn sung by the choir group. Melodious Christmas carols
were sung by the choir group, led by Clara D’Mello which enthralled the audience.
A graceful dance performance was given by Dylin and Dragisa which was applauded by the audience. It was followed by a rocking performance by ‘Ocean Kids’ on the Kannada song ‘Kaiyya tatti haduva’ with the presentation of a beautiful tableau depicting the story of the birth of Immanuel, choreographed by Rakesh and Flanny Martis.
Stalen Lobo and Adline Castelino gave a beautiful dance performance which entertained the audience. There was another dance performed by ‘Ocean Kids’ on an old Hindi song, which was also liked by the
audience. The crowd enjoyed to the fullest with most of them on the dance floor winning many
spot prizes. They also tried their luck at the different game stalls. There was a lucky member
draw conducted by the founder member Albert Quadras.
The prizes were handed over by Jerome D’souza and Fredrick Quadras.
The much-awaited ‘Santa’ came all the way with gifts and goodies for children and it was followed by games for children and adults. The hamper draw, the cake draw and Housie-Housie games were conducted which thrilled the audience. Lastly the vote of thanks was delivered by the secretary Manoj Rego followed by the grace before meal by George D’Souza.
The audience were served with a delicious dinner by Royal caterers. The rhythmic music was provided by DJ David and the stage was beautifully decorated by James. The Christmas Tree celebration was enjoyed by everyone.
