Mangalore, Dec 12: NFADE Mangalore consisting members Chandrashekhar, Florine Roche, Dr Sadanand Perla, Manoj Kumar, Dr Sharabhendra Swamy, Stevan Alwa met BJP leader L K Advani.
The meeting was set up with the help of Udupi MP D V Sadanand Gowda and minister for higher education Dr V S Acharya. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, city south MLA N Yogishn Bhat, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat and MLC Srinivas too were present.
Before the delegation met, journalist M V Kamath had briefed Advani about the issue. During the meet, D V explained to Advani on how he had asked for a debate in lok sabha (LS) during 48-hour-strike with BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley. Advani gave a patient listening and agreed that the ' PB ACT ' is not needed anymore.
He assured that a strategy would be planned in this regard and present in the LS.
