Beltangady, Dec 10: ‘Vishwa Tulu Sammelano Sabi Nempu Lace’ (programme in sweet memory world Tulu convention held last year) is being organized at Ujire in the taluk on Friday December 10. It may be recalled that Vishwa Tulu Sammelan, held at Ujire last year around this period, had been extremely successful in showcasing the richness of Tulu language and culture, besides creating several firsts, presentation of virtual Tulu village being one among them.
The programme will be held at Ratnavarma Heggade stadium in Ujire. Various cultural programmes have been lined up for this occasion.
The programme is being inaugurated by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade. ‘Tulu Rasamanjari’ by Mime Ramdas troupe from Mangalore, ‘Tulunadu Chavadi’ by dignitaries, release of ‘Tuluvara Darshana’ book, and various cultural dance presentations will be part of this programme.
