Mangalore, Dec 9: The last batch of Haj pilgrims from coastal Karnataka is set to touch down at the local airport on Thursday December 9.
The first flight carrying pilgrims had arrived on Tuesday. On Wednesday, two more flights with 440 pilgrims reached the city. Hanif Haji, former member of Haj Committee, said that the last batch of pilgrims will be arriving through a flight on Thursday.
It is gathered that none of the pilgrims have received their baggage as yet. They are worried, as the officials are unable to give any information about the present status of their baggage. A few also confessed that they could not get their cans carrying ‘zam zam(holy water)’, which is brought by the pilgrims returning from Haj voyage.
