Kundapur: St Pius School Organizes Talent Display of Educational Exhibition

Kundapur, Dec 8: A two-day talent display of educational exhibition was held in St Pius English Medium High School, Pius Nagar, Hanglur, near here and in city recently.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fr Walter Mendonca, parish priest of St Pius Church, Pius Nagar, John D’Souza, reporter of Vijay Karnataka, Kannada daily and Monthu Fernandes, former vice president of parish council, Pius Nagar were the chief guests of inaugural function.

John D’Souza appreciated the school authorities for imparting value-based education to students for all these years, as well as exploring innovative method of teaching students.

 Fr Walter Mendonca appreciated the efforts of students in organizing the exhibition.

Keshav Koteshwar was the chief guest of concluding ceremony.

Keshav said that St Pius English Medium High School is a model school that promotes innovative way of teaching which brings about holistic development of students. He also expressed surprise over the performance of students after going though the entire spectacular exhibits of students. He appreciated the teaching staff and marveled at their innovative way of bringing out skills and talents of students.

Fr Roman Pinto, in his address to parents emphasized on discipline and molding the students in the modern world for their wholesome development.

Wilfred D’Souza was the guest of honour of the occasion.

The head teacher Sr Avia and the correspondent Sr Lorenza were present at the dais.

The students of St Pius School and also from neighbouring schools and general public viewed the educational exhibition.
