Mangalore: Dr M V Shetty Institute Holds Talk to Mark World Aids Day

Mangalore, Dec 2: Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology, Moodbidri organized an awareness talk on HIV/AIDS and drug abuse on Wednesday December 1 as part of World AIDS Day.

The resource persons were Carol D D;Souza and Prakash Amin.

Carol spoke on HIV AIDS, focusing on the point that people with HIV/AIDS should be accepted by the society and they should be given love and care.

Prakash spoke on alcohol and its harmful effects.

Dr Ramgopal Shetty, secretary, principal Dr Sandeep, student counsellor Shaheermon, faculty members and all the first year students were present.

Discussions were held after the talk.
