Mangalore: Lady of Remedeis Church, Kirem Annual Feast Celebrated

Mangalore, Nov 25: The annual feast of our Lady of Remedeis Church, Kirem, Kinnigoli here was celebrated on Wednesday November 24.

Fr Valerian Pinto, parish Preist of cordel and the vicar forane of the varado was the main celebrant. Priest from the varado and other guest preists joined the celebration. Large gathering of people participated in the celebration. Lots of non-Catholics too came to the church and made their offered offerings.

Fr Paul Pinto, parish priest appreaciated all responsible for grand success of celebration.

As a tradition three Hindu families were honoured at the end of the mass, with the banana bunch, remembering their help to Christians during the persecution of Tippu.

    tippu troubled christens because they were too loyal to Britishly and he troubled Brahmin's because they were treated low class people very cruly
    they were create a seperate gruop of community it is not good for nation
    any way tippu is the great ruler of india he did so much things for farmers and low class people please
    stop these things we respect his bravery for the sake of OUR NATION
