Mangaluru, Dec 3: In a shocking robbery that took place in the early morning around 4 am at Bangrakulur in the city on Friday December 3, cattle thieves brandished swords and forcibly took away three cows that were left for grazing in front of Goldfinch City.
The stolen cows belonged to Umesh Malarayasana. The cattle thieves arrived in a Black Scorpio vehicle.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has threatened to hold a protest on December 4 in front of Kavoor police station if the culprits are not arrested within 24 hours.
Shivananda Mendon, district secretary VHP, Bhujanga Kulal, divisional coordinator, Punit Attavar, district coordinator, Pradeep Pumpwell and Pavithr Kerebail visited the house of Umesh and consoled him.
