Established in the year 2013, keeping in mind the growing interior décor needs of a city like Mangaluru, the managing partner Elwin Viegas in partnership with Naveen Cardoza, director at Marian Projects Pvt Ltd , procured high end machinery from Italy, Germany and Taiwan to set up their manufacturing unit in a space of 6,000 sq ft at Maroli, Kulshekar. Under the Grooves & Joints banner, the brand has been able to deliver more than 500 kitchens in a span of eight years. Their strong reputation not just in Mangaluru city, but across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, has earned them the distributorship for Aristo (a Russian brand for wardrobe sliding systems, room partitions etc.) for the entire coastal belt. They are also the distributors for KAFF, a very well-known brand for kitchen appliances. With the confidence of a very strong base of satisfied customers, Grooves & Joints is launching their own brand of Modular Furniture solutions, Novus.
With the Novus brand, Grooves & Joints have evolved into home-space consultants. In other words they do not just furnish a house, but, work with clients to give it a personality so that it truly becomes a home. Something that will place Novus a notch above the rest is their infrastructure of a sophisticated in-house manufacturing unit which will build and customize as per need. With a leadership armed with over two decades of extensive experience, design specialists to create not just unique but functional end to end home solutions and skilled installers to execute these plans, Novus will make one’s dream home, a reality.
Their renewed vision in home solutions comes with being inclusive of Kudla’s local artisans.
A city speaks through its art and artists and Novus believes there is no better way to grow than growing together. As a part of their rebranding initiative they are hosting the first edition of ‘The Artisan Collective’ which will showcase bespoke products of women entrepreneurs in sustainable projects in art, decor and other home crafts. Artists Rachena Britto, Ananya Bhat, Suneera Mendonca, Shruti Rao, Malaika Sequiera, Nicola Kulkarni and many other young and talented women will be wearing their most creative hats for the event.
One could kick start the gifting season of Christmas by picking souvenirs for loved ones with these exclusive seasonal collections. Artists along with their choicest artwork will be available to sign up for projects or to help one select an art piece that will compliment the personal spaces within homes.
The Artisan Collective will be at the Novus showroom in Kadri from November 28 until December 1 from 11 am onwards.
