Karnataka reports 178 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 0.31 percent

Bengaluru, Nov 22: Karnataka on Monday, November 22, registered 178 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 6,867. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 112.

As many as 2 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Monday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,177.

The state recorded 373 discharges from hospitals on Monday, taking the total discharges to 29,48,704.

So far, Karnataka has seen 29,93,777 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.31% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.12%.

As many as 7,05,04,448 people have received vaccination so far.
