Bengaluru, Nov 14: Karnataka on Sunday November 14 continued to maintain a steady rate in the number of coronavirus cases, with the state registering 236 new infections.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 7,997. Among the districts, Bengaluru Urban registered the highest number of single-day cases with 152 new infections, while Dakshina Kannada and Hassan reported 11 each, and Mysuru 10.
Only two deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Sunday, both from Bengaluru Urban. With this, the toll so far has risen to 38,145.
The state recorded 264 discharges from hospitals, taking the total discharges so far to 29,45,679.
So far, Karnataka has seen 29,91,850 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.24%, while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.84%.
As many as 6,81,23,440 vaccination doses have been administered so far.
