Kuwait: KPA Elects New Committee for 2010 - 12

Kuwait, Nov 4: Kuwait Pangla Association (KPA) held their general body meeting at Carmel School here to elect a new committee for the year 2011-2012 and to bid farewell to the outgoing committee. The meeting was attended by over 50 members.

The outgoing committee secretary Lavina D’Mello read a report on the various activities that took place during their tenure. On behalf of the outgoing committee Stevan D’Costa, president thanked all the members for their generous support in conducting many events successfully in the last two years.

A transparent and a fare voting system were conducted to elect the new working committee. All the members were requested to cast their vote for the various posts. Below are the details of the new core committee.

President - Jerald Quadras
Vice President - Rashmi D’Mello
Secretary - Manoj Rego
Joint Secetary - Arun Noronha
Treasurer - Victor Martis
Public Relation & Media Representative - Clara D’Souza
Cultural & Sports Sectary - Canute Aranha

The core committee also includes general committee members and an advisory committee into their cabinet. Below are their names:

Naveen Monis, Kishore D’mello, Lavina D’mello, Praveen D’souza, Herald Quadras, Lawrence Martis, Vivian Rodrigues, Santosh Rodrigues, Ignatius Quadras and George D’souza

Advisory Committee

Fredrick Quadras, Albert Quadras and Jerome D’souza

The newly elected president  Jerald Quadras thanked all those who voted for him and congratulated the new office-bearers.

A delicious breakfast was prepared by Lawrence Martis. The programme was ably conducted by Albert Quadras.
