Mangaluru, Oct 21: ‘Bolava Vittala’ a musical programme will be held at the Town hall on Tuesday November 11 at 6.00 pm.
International artistes such as Aparna Kelkar, agesh Adagaonkar, Pt Jayatheertha Mevundi of Hubli will perform in this programme.
For the past several years, ‘Pancham Nishad’, a well known music organisation organizing music programmes in Mumbai has been conducting a series of programmes in the major cities of our country under the name of ‘Bolava Vital’ in the Ashada Masa to praise and invocate lord Panduranga. This year the programme will be held in Mangalore for the first time. The city’s renowned music organization ‘Sangeet Bharati Foundation®’ will organise ‘Bolava Vitala Programme’ in Mangaluru in association with Pancham Nishad.
On the tabla Prasad Padye, on the pakwaj Pratap Awad, on the harmonium Aditya Oak, on the manjeera and the conch Suryakanth Surve and the on the flute Shadj Godkindi will accompany the main artistes.
The music lovers of Mangaluru have an opportunity to relish great music the third time now. The three musical maestros will enthrall the audience for about 3 hours. There is free entry to all music lovers to this special Santavani programme (only with entry pass). The interested people can register their names and obtain the pass from Expert PU College, Near Bhagavati Temple, Kodialbial, Mangaluru from November 5, said Narendra L Nayak, the vice president of Sangeet Bharati Foundation, in a press release.
