Panaji, Oct 28: Dalgado Konknni Akademi’s (DKA), two-day residential novel writing workshop will be inaugurated on at Colva Residency, Colva here on Saturday October 30 at 10.00 am by Konknni novelist and Sahitya Akademi Award winner Damodar Mauzo.

While the president of Tiatr Akademi of Goa, Tomazinho Cardozo will be the guest of honour. The president of DKA will preside. The workshop will be co-ordinated by Konknni writer Vincy Quadros.           

The basics and nature of novel wrting, how to design a plot, develop the characters and scenes and all that goes into making of a good novel will be discussed at length in the workshop under the able guidance of well known novelist Bonaventure D’Pietro, Hema Naik, Willy Goes and Mahabaleshwar Sail.

At the end of the workshop the participants have to develop the outline of the novel which will be developed and completed in due period with a decision to be arrived at the workshop.     

 Altogether 20 participants will take part in the workshop.
