Maldives, Oct 4: International cultural fest council and Global peace foundation jointly held 25th international cultural festival at Kani Grand seminar auditorium, Mafusi, Maldives on Saturday, evening October 2. The festival chaired by professor Malleshwaram G Venkatesh was inaugurated by former MLC D S Veeraiah after releasing the banner.

Kani Grand organization director S Taner, Dr Sathish Kumar S Hosamani, D S Vishwanath, Sankre Gowda Mysuru, Deleep S Gadyal and Natyanjali Kalakendra director Dr Sahana Bhat were the guests of honour.

Nagaraj S Upadhyaya, Mahanthesh Chandrakanth Mahajan, Dr Prabhu Chauhan Mohantri, Dr Ashok Narode and Lekhashree Patnayak were felicitated. The guests released the books ‘Kavyadhare’, ‘Pustaka Preethi’ and 'Mahakavyagalalli Buddha’ on the occasion.

An interaction on the subject ‘global peace’ was presided over by Dr M P Varsha, Mysuru. Bhagavan Bindiganavile, Dr Archana Athani, Prashanth Mysuru, Shivaraj P B, Mohammed Arif Kalakatta and Prathviraj Bhat took part in it.

Mahadeva Sathigere presented a comedy skit, Natyanjali Kalakendra artists performed classical dances in the direction of Dr Sahana Bhat, Go Na Swamy, Shivaraj P B and Pushpa Aradhya presented a musical programme.

International cultural fest council president K P Manjunath Sagar welcomed and gave an introductory address. Prathibha Gowda and Go Na Swamy compered the programme. Global peace foundation honorary secretary Shiva Kuntaka Hyderabad rendered a vote of thanks.
