Karnataka Sangha Qatar celebrates 'Engineers’ Day- 2021'

Doha, Sep 26: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a frontline community group celebrated ‘Engineers Day-2021’, to commemorate the birthday of the iconic Engineer of India, Bharat Ratna, Sir M Vishweshwaraiah at Mumbai Hall-ICC on Wednesday, September 15 following all covid- protocols.

ICC president PN Babu Rajan was the chief guest of the evening. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the KSQ Management committee members along with guests. KSQ president Nagesh Rao delivered the keynote and Suchitra Sridhara briefed the life story of legendary Engineer Sir M Vishweshwaraiah.

 

Dynamic Engineers Shankarasa Dharmadas, Syed Yaseen Afshad and Savious Sebastiane Crasta, presented a Technical presentation to the audience. The technical presentation was well applauded by the chief guest and the audience.

A small stage program was conducted by Deepak Shetty, past president of KSQ and Advisory member of ICC Krishna Kumar, general secretary of ICC were honoured with Abhiyanthashree awards for their contribution in the field of Engineering.Shruti Kumara and Suchitra Sridhara read out the introductory speech of awardees.

MCC former president Sunil Dsilva, KSQ past president Veeresh Mannangi, Arun Kumar, community leaders Ravi Shetty, Mahesh Gowda, Sandesh Anannd, Kiran Anand, Anil Boloor and Ramanna Hegde were present on the occasion.

Kishore compered the program. The program was concluded with high tea.
