Panaji: Verna police nab UP man with ganja possession

Panaji, Sep 20: Anil Kumar Singh (33), a native of Uttar Pradesh who was residing in Verna was arrested by the police for possessing 203g of ganja worth Rs 25,000 . On Saturday, September 18 he was brought before the Judicial magistrate first class, Margao who remanded him to police custody.

A raid was conducted by the Verna police, following a tip off on Friday evening near Mahalsa temple, old Mardol in Verna.

PSI Shridhar Kamat is the investigating officer and a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPA) Act.
