Toronto, Sep 18: One of the highly acclaimed personality and the renowned emcee ex-Abu Dhabi Neville D’Souza (68) passed away due to an accident outside his home on September 16 here in Mississauga, Canada. This news of tragic loss has come as total shock for his family and thousands of friends.
Neville was born in Bahrain on April 28, 1953 to the late Robert and Elizabeth D’Souza. He grew up in Bengaluru and after his studies arrived in Abu-Dhabi in 1976. He worked in Gray-Mackenzie for four years and later at the British Embassy until his retirement in 2005 as the Commercial Attaché. He moved to Canada in 2005 to be with his family.
Neville was a highly acclaimed emcee and compered high level programmes in the Middle East and in Canada. He compered may events organized by KCO Abu-Dhabi and the Mangalorean Association of Canada.
He leaves behind his mom Elizabeth D’Souza, beloved wife Joyce, his sons Lennon and Elton/Ann Marie, his grandchildren Mateo, Avery and Isla, his brothers Melville and Clarille.
Neville will be laid to rest on September 20. The funeral will be live streamed.
