Kaup, Sep 13: Karnataka state BJP president and MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, noting that both D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah, are already hankering to occupy the seat of the chief minister (CM), predicted that these two leaders will never become chief ministers even if they wait for two decades. He stressed that the BJP will continue to sweep the polls and rise to power in Karnataka.
He was speaking at a programme organised in Kaup assembly constituency on Sunday September 12.
"Powered by the excellent foresight and planning skills of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is moving fast on the path of progress. The voters have voted the BJP candidates to power in Belagavi district. Mallikarjun Kharge's bastion, Kalaburagi, also fell to the BJP. BJP has a favourable environment all over the state," he explained.
Kateel urged the legislators of the party to extend support and instil a sense of confidence among the BJP booth level presidents so that the party will become stronger. He said that strengthening the booth level units of the party happens to be a part of the electoral strategy. He exuded confidence that his party will rise to power in the zilla and taluk panchayat elections which are fast approaching.
