Bengaluru, Sep 10: Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge accused that the union government has looted Rs 24 lac crore of tax in the name of just 1.34 lac crore of Oil Bonds.
Speaking to the reporters in the city, Kharge said, “Union government led by PM Modi has put people of the country in dire straits by increasing the price of petrol and diesel exorbitantly. Let the union government make it public the amount of tax looted by the public in the name of oil bonds.
“So far the union government has collected Rs 24 lac crore. What more looting is required? People of this country are coming to know the reality of BJP now. We have raised our voice against fuel price increase in the parliament. But people who support our claim are less as PM Modi threatens those who raise voices against him. Even the media is being scared by his party men,” he said.
