Mumbai, Aug 27: Kannada Kala Kendra Mayuravarma Prathistana held an interaction on culture and parent’s responsibilities at Kalakendra Sion in the afternoon on August 22.

Mumbai city civil and sessions court deputy registrar Dr G P Kusuma was the chief guest. She said that we must make our culture grow through our work particularly among children as they imitate elders.

Gopi Rao explained the importance given by foreigners to our culture especially to yoga.

Kannada Kala Kendra president T R Madhusoodan who presided over the programme said that the programme held during the Corona pandemic is valuable. He expressed confidence that the young generation of today will preserve the art and culture displayed by Mayura Varma Samskrithika Prathistana that is active behind the curtain and presented several works to the Saraswath community.

Vaishnavi Acharya, Prathvi Ganiga, Krishna Udupa, Anaga Rao, Suma Rao, Sathvik J Rai and others sang patriotic songs, presented dances and acting performances.

Sadananda Safaliga and Rajavarma Jain helped for the success of the programme. Vishwanath Dodmane of the Prathistana welcomed and thanked in the end. Drama artiste Jagadish D Rai compered the programme.
