Mumbai, Aug 25: The Kandivali branch of Bharath Cooperative Bank Ltd celebrated their 43rd founder’s day on Saturday, August 21.
Entrepreneur Yogesh Bhoja Shetty and Madhu Bala Agarwal lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme. Bank’s senior customer, entrepreneur and social worker Babu Seena Shetty cut the cake and set the celebrations in motion.
Branch manager Hemanth R Agarwal said that the bank started by far sighted leaders of Billava community under Billavara association in 1978 has become a boon for customers in the cooperative sector. “The bank has made a revolution under the leadership of late Jaya C Suvarna. The current executive president Uppooru Shivaji Poojary is an intellectual in banking. He has immense experience in banking. The bank will progress further with new projects in the future with all of their sincere service,” he said.
