Bahrain: Kannada Sangha Organizes Yaksha Vaibhava 2010

Bahrain, Sep 29: Kannada Sangha Bahrain successfully presented Yaksha Vaibhava-2010 "Devi mahatme-Shambhavi Vijaya" at Indian Club auditorium, Manama, recently.

More than 25 artists performed the episode enthusiastically. Along with the artistes' performance the stage setting, costume, make-up and lighting mesmerized the audience.



More than 1,000 people enjoyed the colorful art. Guest artists Dayanand Shettigar Mijar and Shekhar Shettigar were honoured with the mementos. Sangha's senior artistes Narayana Panjattotti and Doomanna Rai were also honoured for their contribution to Yakshagana in Bahrain.

CCIA president Dr P V Cheriyan was the chief guest. Shantaram Shetty and U H Neelakantha were the honourable guests. President Rajkumar and vice-president H K Pai were also on the stage. General secretary Ramesh Ramachandran did the proceedings, entertainment secretary Kiran Upadhyay narrated the story and proposed the vote of thanks.
