Mangaluru, Aug 19: A student was assaulted at the service bus stand here on Wednesday August 18. Mansoor (21) from Doddanagudde, Udupi, was beaten up by a gang as per reports.

Mansoor is a second year diploma student of a private engineering college near Konaje. He had made it a habit to travel by a Kohinoor company bus belonging to his relatives’ every day. An agent of another bus who had observed Mansoor travelling by the same bus every day, questioned him why he was particular about Kohinoor bus before attacking him, Mansoor stated.

    No other info.why he was beaten ?Whether he had no ticket,travelling for Umme?(No cost)I say when yes quiet possible they were not amused ,but not right to assault ,anyone ,can be a notice given to pay certain amount .Our people have to learn to act as civilized .Student too have to learn the same ,when others are paying for the ticket ,he too must.or a letter carrying any relations consent to travel without paying ticket.
