New Delhi, Aug 14: Harish Bangera, native of Udupi, who was arrested and imprisoned by the Saudi authorities for allegedly making blasphemous comments on the Saudi Crown Prince and Mecca, the holy site of Muslims across the world and released recently, will reach Bengaluru on August 18.
This information was given by Shobha Karandlaje, union minister for agriculture and farmers’ welfare.
All the procedures that are required to repatriate Harish to the motherland are complete. He will be flying from Dammam airport of Saudi Arabia on August 17 and reach Bengaluru international airport via Doha on August 18.
Shobha has received an official message in this regard from the Indian embassy in Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.
