Chandrashekhar has deceived his own people. He had met Tukrappa after the dacoity and had also expressed his sadness over the incident saying that such a thing should not have happened to Tukrappa. Though Chandrashekhar was an auto rickshaw driver, he had bought 12 acres of land at Ballamanja and two sites at Nellyadi.
Accused Chandrashekhar estimated that Tukrappa might be having huge amounts of cash with him at home as Tukrappa had sold agricultural land he owned at Shishila. He had informed the same to Basheer, who is already arrested by police and out on bail now. In addition, Chandrashekhar had conveyed complete details of the house of Tukrappa to Basheer, which was conveyed to Dawood Hakim by Basheer and hatched a plot for dacoity.
The gang which was involved in the dacoity had seriously injured Tukrappa wife and robbed her gold. Moodbidri police have already arrested 13 people in this case. Now two more main accused are arrested by Uppinangady police.
The accused are sent to judicial custody.
