Bengaluru, Aug 9: BJP Karnataka state president, Nalin Kumar Kateel, informed that the performances of individual ministers will be evaluated every month. He also revealed that ministers who face charges of corruption and other things will not be tolerated by the party.
"We will continuously apprise the performances of ministers. We will inform them about the opinions of the people and the workers and actively follow up with them to see that important tasks are handled efficiently," he stated. He advised the ministers to stop participating in felicitations on becoming ministers. It is their duty to maintain the honour of the party and the government. They should wipe the tears of people facing difficulties because of covid19, flood, landslides etc," he stated.
On the charges of not giving preference to those loyal to the Sangh Parivar when forming the new ministry, he said that people who sacrificed were promised ministerial berths and the promises have been kept. Kateel also pointed out that those who are committed to party principles like Araga Jnanendra, Sunil Kumar, Halappa Achar and B C Nagesh have been given the opportunities. He also felt that good departments have been given to all the ministers and it is up to them to prove their mettle. He said that many programmes of the government have not reached the people and the party will become the mouthpiece of the government in informing the people what we have achieved so far.
Kateel said serial meetings and conventions will be held regularly to strengthen the party organization and to prepare for legislative council, BBMP election, and assembly election from this month onward. He also said that Yediyurappa's guidance and image will be used for the party's benefit for the coming months. "We will extend full support for the Yatra planned by him. We will hold big conventions for a year from January onward in the light of the assembly elections," he explained.
