Sundar was unmarried and was staying alone in his house located next to his brother, Ravi's residence. Ravi's wife used to provide him food. Ravi often picked up fights with Sundar, as he suspected that Sundar had secret relationship with his wife.
On Friday, one such quarrel erupted between the two. Hearing the frantic cries of Sundar, his other brother Ramesh, rushed there and saw that Ravi had hit Sundar on his head with a rod. Ravi was found lying in a pool of blood. Even as he tried to help, Sundar breathed his last. At this time, Ravi ran away.
Bantwal police, in a successful operation, found out the location of Ravi and arrested him.
