Kasargod, Aug 2: “The district administration has decided to open mobile RTPCR testing centre at Talapady border from August 3,” said district collector Bhandary Swagath.
As Covid negative test report is mandatory to enter Karnataka from now on, thousands of people travelling from Kasargod to Mangaluru were in a quandary. The Dakshina Kannada district administration had suspended the RTPCR test centre at Talapady from Monday August 2.

As many as 703 people have been tested positive for Coronavirus in the district on Monday. A total of 668 people have been healed. 6,910 people are under treatment. As many as 13,984 fresh cases were found in Kerala on Monday.
A total of 27,090 people are under observation in the district. The virus has been confirmed to 1,08,764 people so far. As many as 1,00,987 have recovered.
