Mumbai, Jul 20: The students of Ryan International School, Chembur on recently celebrated National French Day (Bastille Day) with great enthuse.
The school offers French as a second language for grades 8, 9 and 10. Under the expert guidance and wisdom of chairman Dr A F Pinto, managing director Grace Pinto and talented teaching staff, the students have a good command over the language.
The students are elated to learn French as they believe it will open new vistas for them, both educationally and professionally. Headmistress Philomena D'Souza, students of grades 8, 9 and 10 participated in the programme, which consisted of speeches on the significance of French Day by the students of grade 10 Ghena Vig, story narration and reports on French culture by the students of grade 9 Swathi Sailesh and a wonderful display of French cuisine by the students of grade 8 Ritkriti Wadhel.
