Yediyurappa's supporters launch campaign to put pressure on BJP high command

Bengaluru, Jul 20 (IANS): In the wake of the BJP high command's decision to change the leadership in Karnataka, the team identifying with the Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and legislators from his camp have launched an all out campaign supporting him.

"The developments within the party have intensified. RSS leaders and senior leaders in New Delhi are warned about the consequences if CM Yediyurappa is forced to resign," party sources said.

It has also been decided to launch a movement through religious seers of various Veerashaiva-Lingayat mutts across the state. Even as Yediyurappa declared himself that he will continue as CM for the next two years, no top leader from the BJP came forward to make an announcement supporting him.

Hence, Yediyurappa's team is planning to demand from the BJP High Command that they should pull the curtain on the issue of leadership in the state. "It will also be brought to their notice that, if they don't act in this direction, the BJP in the state will suffer immensely," sources explain.

Akhila Bharatha Veerashaiva Mahasabha President and senior Congress leader Shamanur Shivashankarappa had warned that, BJP party will be doomed in Karnataka if CM Yediyurappa is asked to resign. BJP leaders should go to history and learn about the consequences of disturbing Lingayat leadership. "If any action is taken against CM Yediyurappa, the community will give a befitting answer to BJP," he underlined.

In another important development, another powerful Congress leader M.B. Patil stated that the BJP will lose Lingayat vote bank base if they attempt to change the leadership.

As per some media reports, 3 candidates names are strongly heard for CM job of Karnataka. 2 bramins and one vokkaliga. S.L, Santosh, Mr. Joshi and C. T. Ravi. Recent allocation of Central Ministry to Shobha Karandlaje , is to change equation and to put pressure on Yeddi to resign. C.M. Yeddirappa is a fighter and how he will bounce back, is to be seen.

If today hypothetically - the Congress - JD ( s ) were in power and toppling game was needed then the services of \ --SHRI YEDDYURAPPA would have been used without consideration of AGE - etc - Once Shri YEDDYURAPPA has achieved BJP objectives then all the issues of AGE -retirement etc has come in - by RSS - brahmin lobby- Without Lingayat base without SHRI Yeddy having major major say - BJP has serious survival issues like in other southern states -

Education minister of Karnataka in not at all bothered about students mental health. I hope those who make student suffer like this suffer 100x more Karma We all students should get together and not vote for a govt that does not care about students

Nice political drama started. Rotation of power is necessary for any healthy administration. Specially above 65 years leaders have to retire and be kept only as advisers. But where are the cops now ??? Look at the picture non of them have face mask, and no social distance is observed. If a common man found without mask he bill be beaten up by cops or arrested. Now the same cops are sleeping/blind???? All the activists are blind???
