This monsoon period is bit risky times. I hope people’s of kudla and Udupi is taking care of safety during these heavy rains. There is more accidents of two wheelers slipping in the wet roads, potholes get covered due to puddles and bikes is skiddings. Flash flooding also is occurring more these days . Drainages get blocked due to plastic wastes being dumped in it and it overflow on roads creating health hazards. Also people must be careful to eat in hotels and roadside places, I remember once during my college days I get intense abdominal pain and bad smelling sandas several times with itching inanus and got admitted, later doctor tell me it is due to food poisoning and ask if I am eating roadside foods, then I remember it might be goli soda I had in bunder. Or maybe it was Donne biryani I am not sure. People must avoid hotel foods and stay at home for safety of all in this COVID prior and avoid all unnecessarily going out in the rain . Monsoon means water logging leading to mosquito breeding and outbreak of malaria and dengue also . Sanitation must be taken care of like it is done high standards in Canada. Periodic food testing and hygiene testing is done here, just few days ago they closed an Egyptian place because salmonella is growing in the shawarma hotel. Authorities must act on time and maintain good health of common man, please veryone take care, Regards, thomas
