Besides what I have is secured in the bank. My two children are my biggest asset. Wealth is required to have modest comforts in life but health is more important. you did not answer my questions. Its a open secret and every one will read so better keep pending.

almost every govt official belonging to certain community is corrupt? what about that? those things are not seen? just targetting a community will not help..yes..it is true that one particular community and people of same place are involved in this..but what about the whole country where every other govt official even private institutions are corrupt? do you have the guts to question them? people are given open clean chits in fraud cases. so let things run the way they are..even customs are corrupt..they must be catching one in 1000 cases.

We can bring Gold biscuits up to 1kilo or more provided we declare and pay the custom duty @ 12.5%. If a person want to bring gold and willing to pay the custom duty at government specified rate, will these custom officials allow or they will arrest him prior to declaring? There are cases I read, that they arrested someone from the arriving gate itself. They do not allow people to declare honestly. NRIs can bring foreign currency equal to or less than 5000 USD without declaring. If the figure is higher than 5000 USD they need to declare. One of my friend who arrived from Saudi Arabia, honestly approached the custom officer, to declare the foreign currency he is having. They harassed him by asking all unwanted questions, and detained him for couple of hours, though he had the currency within the specified limit and he willingly went to declare.

Why to kidnap you Flavian sir ? Why to take so much effort? You have already declared what you possess ....nothing other than one old chain and hmt watch. Here, i dont want anything. Robberies are more. They throw chiili powder on the eyes and rob gold ornaments. Best to go out in NIRABHARANA. You visit your native place without bringing such things. Human is more valuable than gold and luxury...Safety is first. God bless

Kids or teenagers travelling to Mangalore along are at a very great risk. They are the potential victims who are targetted for such cases. I know for myself and my friends who children were approached to check -in a bag or a packet in their names as they had more luggage. If not at the check in, then its athe boarding gate, a packet that is termed as excess, is urgently handed over to someone . These smugglers work in teams waiting for hours outside the terminal in Dubai and keep an eagle eye preying on young passengers who fly alone. So please coach your kids or family if they travel alone.

But, as per the news, international flights are not operational. Many cannot travel to gulf for so many reasons.....Let them bring gold from their hard earned money. Why you all catch them in this pandemic?...

1.There are no regular daily flights, only chartered flights are operational. 2. Gold worth over 34 lakhs from hard earned money, that too during pandemic when thousands in Dubai have lost jobs or have not been paid full salaries. Amazing.
