Based on the complaint, the gram panchayat officials not only registered a case against the person concerned, but also made him to pick up the waste he had thrown. This incident happened within the limits of Kinya gram panchayat.

The complaint said that waste had been thrown at Sankesh road bend within Kinya gram panchayat by a bike-borne youth. Nowadays every item we purchase comes in a plastic packet. There are no options to dispose plastic waste in Panchayat areas as there is no process of door to door collection. Finally people resort to such behaviour which is also wrong. Panchayats should also come up with options for waste disposal. Even if it is not door to door, they should have a garbage collection point in each village

There are lack of facilities by the authority. However responsible act could prevent the problems up to certain levels. Segregation of waste could solve 80% of garbage issues. The problem is we are mixing up all the wastes together and the whole waste turns into hazardous and worsen problem. Hope this kind of act by the officials may help the citizens learn and solve the problem by their own.
